One day, an idea was formed in his mind. It’s grown up, got structured, became a dream and then a project. He shared his project with his family and friends. Those, benevolent people, pointed out to him the impossibility of achieving such a project. He was about to listen to them.
The mission of “Des ailes plein la tête” is to offer a quality product at a price lower than the traditional market by reducing operating costs and intermediaries based on an effective marketing.
Our mission is also charitable, because we are proud to share our success with the rest of the planet, by giving 30% of our annual incomes to environmental and humanitarian activities.
Beyond the marketing of our fellow products, we are dedicated to help new authors, by offering them a free exposure and the chance to publish more easily their book.

Our History
Promote the Relief
Promote the relief means offering authors the chance to publish his/her work, even if this one cannot find immediately an audience, that reduces the task by sharing it with those who are often in a better position to accomplish it: the readers. We serve as a guide while respecting the original idea of the work. We maintain a winning relationship between authors, publishers, distributors and the audience.
On receipt of a new manuscript, we skim through it to ensure that its contents is not hateful, racist or unsightly. An initial screening is done among the manuscripts received, and then we propose to selected authors to disseminate their work for free to the public for a limited time and volume.
The purpose of this exercise is to survey the opinion of each reader, who will have downloaded this document on the quality and relevance of the book, these readers becoming member of a reading committee or literary critics. This step is done by email and replaces the reading of manuscripts made by a conventional publisher from which up to 99% of these manuscripts are rejected, often without even being really read.
The decision to study thoroughly the manuscript and determine whether it will take the professional correction road or the one of abandonment will be based on the comments collected and analyzed.
After that, this information is disclosed to the author, who will have the whole truth about his/her talent, and fixes or improvements to make in his/her work. This way of working will increase the number of books published.
Simple, effective, fast and fair: it is the readers who decide the destiny of a book. We encourage selected authors to present his/her book to webrary's publishers members.
We try to change the world of publishing through technology, free of charge, sharing out, and other higher values than mere commerce. Our philosophy is to reduce the number of intermediaries, offer a better compensation to authors, speed up manuscripts reading and use the direct opinion of readers, thus giving a true picture of the text assessment.
Fair Revenue Sharing
« Des ailes plein la tête » is trying to spread the goods equitably. For this reason, the editor who wishes to distribute his products by Webrary’s web site can indicate the percentage of royalty who it wishes to receive. We accept this proposal if it is commercially viable by considering the expenses of banking treatment, the applicable taxes and other costs as well as the margin of 30% which we deduct from our incomes for the ecological and humane actions.

Environmental and Humanitarian
No matter the house where you live, the model of car you drive or resorts where you stay, all this will not be very important in a hundred years. Only the people you have helped will count.
Giving lightens the heart more than the wallet and offers a reason for living. More than just a company that Webrairie represents a way to make a difference in a capitalist and egocentric world.
In order to make a difference in the world, we donate 30% of our incomes as far as this donation does not jeopardize our survival. This amount of money is calculated after publisher’s economic rights, client's sponsor program, publisher's sponsor program, taxes and bank fees. Income taxes will be apply on that donation at the same rate as the entire Webrary’s activities.
« Des ailes plein la tête » is anxious to give future generations the chance to survive in this environment increasingly hostile we have created, by supporting one or more organizations working to save people or the planet.
To help us decide where will be distributed these monies, we welcome your suggestions for humanitarian or environmental investments to maximize every dollar. From local project to large-scale enterprises, your suggestions will be considered, analyzed and validated in order to safeguard ourselves against potential fraud.
Saving a small recycling plant from bankruptcy, cleaning up the banks of a river, digging wells or building schools in Africa, are not these activities more challenging than driving a Mercedes?
Be our eyes and our inspiration, because there is so much to do.
An annual report will be prepared and published on the site to provide the transparency that we want in the organizations we support.
Our History
In January 2008, the “Little Peas Editions Petit Pois” company was legally founded. However, this name gave the impression of a company that specializes in children's books. So we created a second entity, Des ailes plein la tête, which better reflects who we are.
W. Clement Stone often said “be willing to risk failure in order to succeed”. We had to face a few setbacks before soaring, but we never gave up.
A major distribution agreement falls through, our webmaster, after having swallowed up nearly all our budget for personal purposes, ran away leaving the Website incomplete and unusable, we had to move twice before finding a suitable office... and that’s not all.
The decision to terminate or not the project had to be taken no later than October 10 of that year. The same day, I met someone who seemed the ideal person to ensure the role of webmaster and rebuild our Website. He agreed to work almost without any compensation, to deliver a comprehensive site, to maintain it and thus become a true partner.
A sign of God... But we quickly realize that this webmaster did not have the skills needed to build a site like ours.
Although this was more a mirage than a miracle, this event revives my passion and I took the firm decision to pursue this project through thick and thin. Pursuing a dream lend your mind full of wings, warms your heart, and you see the world with the eyes of a child.
Some people would say that things are not happening by chance, others that it was the Divine Providence. I would simply say that good things happen to good people. This project laying on the foundation of sharing and fairness, it was natural that the tide would turn in our favor.
A lightning hit me, and made me realize that I have to risk everything I own, and even more.... and try it. We have to be prepared to pay for it and hire qualified people, delegate the design and programming of this Website to the best specialists.
A year later, in January 2009, another highly skilled webmaster begins the tremendous task. Dismissed for non-adherence to schedule, he also swallowed a large part of our budget and delays the project of six precious months.
Dave is hired to the position of Webmaster. He works in collaboration with LaZone a firm specialized in communication and Web design. The site you are visiting is their creation. Éliane, a specialist in French language, Manon our English translator, Stéphane, marketing and public relations agent of talent, Maël, blogger, ensures our presence and exposure on the web and some people who do freelance work, now form a team of professionals dedicated to a just cause.
As cultural promoters, we want to be in a position to offer many products and services of quality that suit our clients, from the opening to the world of our website. We are still on the look-out for other publication opportunities in order to meet our ambitions and those of our partners.
